Manchester City striker Ruled Out For Two Months
Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero, has been ruled out for two months according to the manager of the club, Pep Guardiola. The 32-year-old Argentina international has been out with a knee injury since June 22, 2020. The injury forced him to miss 12 games in all competitions at the tail head of the 2019-2020 season.
Before the 2019/2020 season ended, the former Atletico Madrid striker managed to play a total of 32 matches in all competitions in which he scored 23 goals and provided 4 assists.
The unstable situation of his fitness level and the fact that Manchester City is scoring a good number of goals without him could force the club not to renew his contract which will expire in June 2021. His injury issue could also make it difficult for him to find a suitable club this summer or in the January transfer window. Aguero has been with Manchester City since 2011 and is the club’s all-time leading goalscorer since 2017.
