MotoGP French GP at Le Mans postponed without date

The Grand Prix MotoGP that should have been played between 15 and 17 May at the Bugatti Le Mans circuit has been postponed due to the global crisis by the coronavirus, according to decision adopted by the International Motorcycling Federation (FIM), the Association of Competition Teams (IRTA) and the Spanish company Dorna Sports, organizer of the competition.

Given that the situation of COVID-19 continues in constant evolution and that for the Spanish Grand Prix, also postponed, a new date has not been established, an attempt will be made to confirm as soon as possible the new dates for both events and the publication of a new revised calendar.

Thus, the World Cup would begin in theory at Mugello on May 31. However, it is normal that this appointment is also postponed, given the situation Italy is going through due to the spread of the coronavirus. The next appointment is on June 7 at the Circuit of Barcelona-Catalonia and then the Sachsenring race (Germany) would come on June 21.
